Now in its eighth year, the Southwest Michigan Writers’ Conference will be returning to LTPL. Join us for a full day of writing instruction and networking for new and experienced writers of all kinds.

Create your own peaceful retreat in this hands-on workshop! Design a miniature Zen Garden with sand, stones, and calming accents to take home and enjoy.

Stop on by to celebrate all of the letters of the alphabet that we have learned in Little Bookworms this past year! We will have a variety of fun alphabet themed crafts, games, and books for children and their grown-ups to explore together.

On the 100th anniversary of the birth of Harper Lee, join us for a discussion of her classic book To Kill a Mockingbird and its importance in American history.

Do you love to cook or simply have a passion for trying new recipes? Then the Dish it Up Book Group is for you!  

Last meeting of the season.  Bring treats to share and there will be crafts out for the kids to do.

Stop in without an appointment, every Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., to get one-on-one help with your computer, mobile device, or online library resources. Patrons will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.

Drive through to have your child’s car seats checked by a certified car seat safety technician from the St. Joseph Police Department.

Bring your family to celebrate Earth's water! There will be several hands-on, fun activities, and investigations about water.  We'll discover where water hangs out, how it moves, and some ideas to take care of this important resource!

Want to volunteer at the library? Teens ages 14 to 17 are welcome to join our VolunTeen program. Earn volunteer hours, help out at programs, and sign up patrons for the Summer Reading Program.
