Each week homeschool families have a chance to get together, learn new things, and make quality connections.  We have another amazing line-up of presenters and experiences including Love Creek, Chikaming Open Lands, an outdoor petting zoo and

Meet us in the courtyard to take a walk around the library grounds to discover what plants, animals and birds live nearby. We'll visit the pollinator garden, the story walk and take a look at the sculptures on the back lawn. All ages are welcome.

Stop in without an appointment, every Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., to get one-on-one help with your computer, mobile device, or online library resources. Patrons will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.

Join art specialist Larissa Nuñez for a hands-on exploration of what it means to be an art collector. Learn about different art movements and mediums, discover how to find and acquire art works, and curate your own hypothetical collection.

Join us for Baby Bouncers, a joyful early literacy program designed just for babies ages 0–18 months and their caregivers.

Join us every fourth Friday for a screening of a movie from Kanopy, a free service to LTPL cardholders. All movies are less than one hour long. You’re welcome to bring a sack lunch! 

January 23: How to Talk to Anyone 

Drop in and hang out with us in the teen area! Enjoy some refreshments, chat with friends, and participate in a different activity each session. This program is designed for teens in grades 6-12. 

Now in its eighth year, the Southwest Michigan Writers’ Conference will be returning to LTPL. Join us for a full day of writing instruction and networking for new and experienced writers of all kinds.

Create your own peaceful retreat in this hands-on workshop! Design a miniature Zen Garden with sand, stones, and calming accents to take home and enjoy.

Stop on by to celebrate all of the letters of the alphabet that we have learned in Little Bookworms this past year! We will have a variety of fun alphabet themed crafts, games, and books for children and their grown-ups to explore together.

On the 100th anniversary of the birth of Harper Lee, join us for a discussion of her classic book To Kill a Mockingbird and its importance in American history.

Learn how what we do on land can affect rivers, lakes, and streams. Through a hands-on watershed activity, kids will see how water moves and how pollution can travel. Best for Ages 5-7
